What types of services does Assured Care Group provide?


Residential Services

Residential services are available to persons with intellectual/ developmental disabilities to support those individuals in our Community Living Programs (Residential and Community Supported Living Arrangements), Day and Employment Programs, and Individual Support Services Program.  Assured Care Group, endeavors to provide assistance to individuals that will promote personal growth, foster autonomy, and compliment and build on an individuals’ strengths for greater independence in living.


Personal Support


Assured Care Group, offers individuals the personal support necessary to enable them to live in their own homes, apartments, family homes, or rental units alone, with roommates, or with other members of their family. Individuals receive varying degrees of support, based on what they need to live most successfully in their home, and range from intensive behavioral supports or significant personal caregiving (CNA) supports for many hours a day, to drop-in supports for just a few hours a day to assist an individual with tasks such as shopping, balancing a checkbook, or cleaning.


With Personal Support Services, Assured Care Group,  employees provide a full range of community based support which includes enhanced development of the individual’s natural support system (family, friends and neighbors of the individual) for greater fulfillment of our cooperative mission: to ensure individuals are fully assimilated and included in their neighborhoods, places of work, and places of worship.

Employment and Day Services


Assured Care Group, provides a multitude of vocational services and supports to individuals:  These services may include one or all of the following:

Ø    Job skills preparation including, but not limited to appropriate work attire, workplace personal hygiene, resume preparation, interviewing skills and appropriate follow-up skills.

Ø    Specific job skill development.

Ø    Customized employment strategies like; job carving, job sharing, and task restructuring.

Ø    Developing a personal budget and managing a paycheck.

Ø    Developing and maintaining good work safety skills.

Ø    Developing appropriate workplace behaviors, including but not limited to; understanding and appropriately interpreting social cues, following the chain of command and communication, taking instruction and directions from supervisors and developing healthy, productive relationships with co-workers.

Ø    Understanding the importance of corporate culture in business.

Ø    Developing time management skills including prioritization, meeting multiple deadlines and strategies for increasing work productivity.

Ø    Developing appropriate workplace attitudes of loyalty, cooperation, and dependability.

Ø    Developing appropriate workplace habits of punctuality, respect for other’s personal and work property, proper use of work tools and equipment and efficiency.

Ø    Job development and customization.

Ø    Maximize use of local resources to enhance and maintain full participation in community life.

Ø    Assist individuals to participate in self-chosen recreational and social activities after working hours to help sustain a more balanced life.


Family and Individual Support Services


Family and Individual Support Services provides assistance to adults with disabilities in their own homes and these services are tailored to each person. Individuals can receive drop-in support and assistance with medical appointments and personal care. Short-term support (respite) is another service Assured Care Group, provides this program.  In this instance, temporary care is provided to individuals with intellectual disabilities in order to give families a rest from the daily routine of caregiving. Respite services may vary from several hours or extended to include several days and overnight care.


Behavioral Support


Behavioral support is provided to individuals in all of our programs to assure that they live a full and active life supported through nurturing relationships. The focus on behavioral supports is on the improvement of the quality of an individual’s life and their relationships with family or others closest to the individual.
